Sobre el artista
John Mayer, nacido en 1977 en Fairfield, Connecticut, es un cantautor y guitarrista estadounidense cuya carrera ha transitado con fluidez entre el pop, el blues y el rock. Tras estudiar brevemente en el Berklee College of Music, inició su carrera a finales de los años noventa y alcanzó el éxito con su álbum debut «Room for Squares» (2001), impulsado por el éxito «Your Body Is a Wonderland», que le otorgó su primer premio Grammy.
En los años siguientes, Mayer se acercó cada vez más al blues, formando el John Mayer Trio y colaborando con leyendas del género como B.B. King y Eric Clapton, consolidando su reputación como un guitarrista serio más allá de su faceta pop.
