Sobre el artista
Bring Me the Horizon, a menudo abreviado como BMTH, es una banda de rock británica formada en Sheffield, Inglaterra, en 2003. La alineación se ha centrado durante mucho tiempo en el vocalista Oliver Sykes, el guitarrista Lee Malia, el bajista Matt Kean y el baterista Matt Nicholls. El nombre proviene de una frase de Jack Sparrow en la primera película de Piratas del Caribe, reflejando la ambición temprana del grupo de viajar y ver el mundo a través de la música.
BMTH comenzó en la escena del deathcore y el metalcore, conocidos por sus blast beats y voces extremas, pero con cada álbum sufrieron una de las evoluciones más drásticas del rock moderno. Discos como Sempiternal y That's the Spirit los acercaron a texturas electrónicas y de rock alternativo, mientras que trabajos posteriores como amo y Post Human: Survival Horror avanzaron aún más hacia el pop, lo industrial y territorios cercanos al hyperpop, sumando colaboraciones de distintos géneros.
