Sobre el artista
AURORA, nacida Aurora Aksnes en 1996 en Stavanger, Noruega, es cantautora y pianista autodidacta que comenzó a publicar música siendo adolescente antes de firmar con Decca y Glassnote Records. Su voz etérea y su pop electrónico con influencias folk la han convertido en una de las voces más distintivas de la escena musical noruega.
Su álbum debut, «All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend», estableció su sonido atmosférico e inspirado en la naturaleza, construido sobre voces elevadas y una producción minimalista y a menudo inquietante. Le siguieron las dos partes de «Infections of a Different Kind» y «A Different Kind of Human», expandiéndose hacia texturas más electrónicas y orquestales. Su perfil creció internacionalmente tras poner voz a un espíritu en «Frozen II» de Disney y colaborar en el sencillo nominado al Óscar «Into the Unknown».
Canciones como «Runaway» y «Running With the Wolves» se volvieron piezas definitorias de su carrera, y su álbum de 2021, «The Gods We Can Touch», inspirado en la mitología griega, mostró su continua evolución como artista que difumina géneros y escribe con intensidad emocional y un aire de otro mundo.
