Sobre el artista
Kesha Rose Sebert, conocida simplemente como Kesha, es una cantautora estadounidense que saltó a la fama a finales de la década de 2000 con una mezcla característica de electropop, dance y un rapeo cantado propio de himnos festivos. Su madre, Pebe Sebert, también es compositora, y ambas han colaborado en varias canciones. Kesha firmó siendo adolescente con el productor Dr. Luke y su sello Kemosabe Records, y su primer crédito destacado fue una aparición vocal sin acreditar en «Right Round» de Flo Rida.
Su álbum debut de 2010, «Animal», la catapultó al estrellato gracias al sencillo número uno «TiK ToK», seguido poco después por el EP «Cannibal», que incluía éxitos como «We R Who We R» y «Blow». Estos trabajos definieron su sonido característico: pop descarado y pegadizo con producción electrónica y una imagen de chica fiestera. Su segundo álbum, «Warrior», mantuvo esa línea incorporando influencias de rock.
Tras una disputa legal muy mediática con Dr. Luke, Kesha resurgió artísticamente con «Rainbow», un disco que dejó atrás parte de su bravuconería inicial en favor de la vulnerabilidad emocional, con el sencillo aclamado «Praying». Desde entonces ha seguido evolucionando en trabajos como «High Road» y «Gag Order», moviéndose entre himnos pop eufóricos y una escritura más introspectiva, consolidándose como una de las voces más resistentes y versátiles del pop.
