Sobre el artista
Korn es una banda de rock estadounidense formada en Bakersfield, California, a principios de los años noventa por James «Munky» Shaffer, Reginald «Fieldy» Arvizu, David Silveria, Brian «Head» Welch y el vocalista Jonathan Davis, cuya interpretación oscura y emocionalmente cruda dio a su sonido pesado y groovero un carácter distintivo. Combinando influencias del metal, el funk y el hip-hop, el grupo fue pionero de un sonido que se convirtió en fundacional para el movimiento nu-metal de finales de los noventa y principios de los 2000.
Canciones como «Freak On a Leash», «Blind», «Falling Away from Me» y «Got the Life» consolidaron a Korn como uno de los actos definitorios del género, conocidos por sus guitarras de siete cuerdas afinadas hacia abajo, el estilo percusivo del bajo de Fieldy y las letras confesionales de Davis sobre trauma, abuso y alienación.
