Cher es una cantante y actriz estadounidense cuya carrera abarca más de seis décadas, comenzando en los años sesenta como una mitad del dúo Sonny & Cher junto a su entonces esposo Sonny Bono. Su éxito «I Got You Babe» los convirtió en estrellas, y Cher inició simultáneamente una carrera en solitario, logrando éxito temprano con canciones como «Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)».
