[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Woman is the nigga of the world
La mujer es la «negra» del mundo
Yes, she is, think about it
Sí, lo es, piénsalo
Woman is the nigga of the world
La mujer es la «negra» del mundo
Think about it, do something about it
Piénsalo, haz algo al respecto
[Verse 1]
[Verso 1]
We make her paint her face and dance
La hacemos pintarse la cara y bailar
If she won't be a slave, we say that she don't love us
If she's real, we say she's tryna be a man
While putting her down, we pretend that she's above us
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Woman is the nigga of the world
La mujer es la «negra» del mundo
Yes, she is
Sí, lo es
If you don't believe me, take a look at the one you're with
Woman is the slave of the slaves
Oh yeah, better scream about it, yeah
Ah sí, mejor grítalo
[Saxophone Solo]
[Solo de saxofón]
[Verse 2]
[Verso 2]
We make her bear and raise our children
La hacemos gestar y criar a nuestros hijos
And then we leave her flat for being a fat old mother hen
We tell her home is the only place she should be
Then we complain that she's too unworldly to be our friend
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Well, woman is the nigga of the world
Yes, she is
Sí, lo es
If you don't believe me, take a look at the one you're with
Oh, woman is the slave to the slave
Yeah, alright, hit it!
Sí, vale, ¡dale!
[Guitar Solo]
[Solo de guitarra]
[Verse 3]
[Verso 3]
We insult her every day on TV
La insultamos cada día en la televisión
And wonder why she has no guts or confidence
When she's young, we kill her will to be free
While telling her not to be so smart, we put her down for being so dumb
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Oh well, woman is the nigga of the world
Yes, she is
Sí, lo es
If you don't believe me, take a look at the one you're with
Woman is the slave to the slaves
Yes, she is
Sí, lo es
If you believe me, better scream about it
Si me crees, mejor grítalo
Uh-huh, eh-heh
Ajá, eh-je

Preguntas frecuentes
¿De qué trata "Woman is the Nigger of the World"?
«Woman Is the Nigger of the World», escrita por John Lennon y Yoko Ono, se publicó como sencillo en 1972 dentro del álbum «Some Time in New York City».
