«Highway to Hell» es la canción principal del sexto álbum de estudio de AC/DC, publicado en 1979, y el último disco grabado con el cantante Bon Scott antes de su muerte en febrero de 1980. Escrita por Angus Young, Malcolm Young y Bon Scott, y producida por Robert John «Mutt» Lange, la canción supuso el gran avance internacional de la banda, llevándolos del estatus de culto al de estrellas de estadio. A pesar del título y las referencias a Satán, la letra no trata sobre culto al diablo: se entiende como una celebración irónica de la vida agotadora y hedonista de una banda de gira, que exalta la libertad, el exceso y el desafío a las convenciones más que una condena literal. Se dice que la frase surgió de bromas internas sobre los extenuantes calendarios de giras. Sigue siendo una de las canciones más emblemáticas de AC/DC, cierre habitual de sus conciertos y uno de los himnos de rock más reconocibles de la historia.
