Letra y traducción
[Verse 1]
[Estrofa 1]
Pearls and swine
Perlas y cerdos
Bereft of me
Privado de mí
Long and weary
Largo y agotador
My road has been
Ha sido mi camino
I was lost in the cities
Estuve perdido en las ciudades
Alone in the hills
Solo en las colinas
No sorrow or pity
Sin pena ni lástima
For leaving, I feel, yeah
Por partir, siento, sí
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
I am not your rolling wheels
No soy tus ruedas rodando
I am the highway
Soy la carretera
I am not your carpet ride
No soy tu alfombra voladora
I am the sky
Soy el cielo
[Verse 2]
[Estrofa 2]
Friends and liars
Amigos y mentirosos
Don't wait for me
No me esperen
Cause I'll get on
Porque seguiré adelante
All by myself
Yo solo
I put millions of miles
Puse millones de millas
Under my heels
Bajo mis talones
And still too close
Y aún demasiado cerca
To you, I feel, yeah
De ti, siento, sí
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
I am not your rolling wheels
No soy tus ruedas rodando
I am the highway
Soy la carretera
I am not your carpet ride
No soy tu alfombra voladora
I am the sky
Soy el cielo
I am not your blowing wind
No soy tu viento que sopla
I am the lightning
Soy el relámpago
I am not your autumn moon
No soy tu luna de otoño
I am the night, the night
Soy la noche, la noche
[Instrumental Bridge]
[Puente instrumental]
[Chorus]
[Estribillo]
Yeah! I am not your rolling wheels
¡Sí! No soy tus ruedas rodando
I am the highway
Soy la carretera
I am not your carpet ride
No soy tu alfombra voladora
I am the sky
Soy el cielo
Well, I am not your blowing wind
Pues, no soy tu viento que sopla
I am the lightning
Soy el relámpago
I am not your autumn moon
No soy tu luna de otoño
I am the night, the night
Soy la noche, la noche
[Outro]
[Outro]
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Sí, sí, sí, sí
Preguntas frecuentes
¿De qué trata "I Am the Highway"?
