Letra y traducción
[Verse 1]
[Verso 1]
They're walking around, head full of sound
Acting like we don't exist
Actuando como si no existiéramos
They walk in the room and stare right through you
Entran al cuarto y te miran a través
Talking like we don't exist
Hablando como si no existiéramos
But we exist
Pero existimos
Daddy it's true, I'm different from you
Papá, es verdad, soy diferente a ti
But tell me why they treat me like this?
Pero dime, ¿por qué me tratan así?
If you turned away, what would I say?
Si tú te alejaras, ¿qué diría yo?
Not the first betrayed by a kiss
[Chorus]
[Coro]
Maybe it's true, they're staring at you
Tal vez sea cierto, te están mirando
When you walk in the room
Cuando entras al cuarto
Tell 'em it's fine, stare if you like
Just let us through, just let us through
Solo déjennos pasar, solo déjennos pasar
[Verse 2]
[Verso 2]
They're down on their knees, begging us please
Están de rodillas, rogándonos por favor
Praying that we don't exist
Rezando para que no existamos
Daddy it's fine, I'm used to 'em now
But tell me why they treat me like this?
Pero dime, ¿por qué me tratan así?
It's ‘cause we do it like this
Es porque lo hacemos así
[Chorus]
[Coro]
Maybe it's true, they're staring at you
Tal vez sea cierto, te están mirando
When you walk in the room
Cuando entras al cuarto
Tell 'em it's fine, stare if you like
Just let us through, just let us through
Solo déjennos pasar, solo déjennos pasar
[Bridge]
[Puente]
Let 'em stare, let 'em stare
Que miren, que miren
If that's all they can do
Si es todo lo que pueden hacer
But I'd lose my heart
Pero perdería el corazón
If I turned away from you
Si me alejara de ti
Oh, Daddy don't turn away
Oh, papá, no te apartes
You know that I'm so scared
Sabes que tengo tanto miedo
But will you watch me drown?
¿Pero me verás ahogarme?
You know we're going nowhere
Sabes que no vamos a ningún lado
We know that we're young
Sabemos que somos jóvenes
And no shit we're confused
Y claro que estamos confundidos
But will you watch us drown?
¿Pero nos verás ahogarnos?
What are you so afraid to lose?
¿Qué tienes tanto miedo de perder?
[Verse 3]
[Verso 3]
Down on my knees, begging us please
De rodillas, rogándonos por favor
Praying that we don't exist
Rezando para que no existamos
You're down on your knees, begging us please
Tú de rodillas, rogándonos por favor
Praying that we don't exist
Rezando para que no existamos
But we exist, we exist
Pero existimos, existimos
Down on your knees, begging us please
De rodillas, rogándonos por favor
Praying that we don't exist
Rezando para que no existamos
You're down on your knees, begging us please
Tú de rodillas, rogándonos por favor
Praying that we don't exist
Rezando para que no existamos
But we exist, we exist
Pero existimos, existimos
We exist, we exist
Existimos, existimos
[Outro]
[Outro]
Maybe if you hang together
Tal vez si se mantienen unidos
You can make the changes in our hearts
Puedan cambiar nuestros corazones
And if you hang together, you can change us
Y si se mantienen unidos, pueden cambiarnos
Just where should you start?
¿Por dónde deberían empezar?

Preguntas frecuentes
¿De qué trata "We Exist"?
