The Jungle Giants

The Jungle Giants are an Australian indie rock band that formed in 2011 in Brisbane, Queensland. The four-piece built their sound around bright, danceable guitar hooks and warm vocal harmonies, positioning them within the wave of Australian indie-pop and rock acts that gained traction through college radio and festival circuits in the early-to-mid 2010s.

The band released their debut album, «Learn to Exist», independently in August 2013, establishing their DIY approach to releasing music. Their follow-up, «Speakerzoid», arrived in August 2015 and became their most critically acclaimed record to that point, earning praise from outlets including Rolling Stone, which awarded it four out of five stars.

In July 2017 the group released their third studio album, «Quiet Ferocity», which saw them lean further into synth-driven, dance-oriented production while keeping their guitar-pop foundation intact. Across singles like «Feel the Way I Do», «Come and Be Alone With Me» and «Heavy Hearted», The Jungle Giants have built a catalogue defined by hooky choruses and an evolving sound that moves between indie rock and pop.
