Sueco

Sueco, born William Henry Victor Schultz, is an American rapper and producer from Los Angeles who first built an online following by posting videos of himself making beats out of everyday objects on social media. That online presence helped set the stage for his breakout when his song «fast» went viral on TikTok in 2019, propelling him to mainstream attention despite its original release having passed largely unnoticed.

His sound blends rap, rock, pop and R&B influences, favoring energetic, hook-driven tracks that lean into pop-punk and emo-rap textures alongside more straightforward hip-hop production. Songs like «Paralyzed», «Loser», «dork» and «POS» showcase this genre-blending approach, often pairing distorted guitars or moody synths with melodic, sung-rapped vocals.

Following the success of «fast», Sueco signed to Atlantic Records in 2019 and released the project MISCREANT that same year, building on earlier independent work including his 2017 project TrippyNights. He has continued to release music that moves fluidly between genres, positioning himself within the wider wave of genre-blending, internet-native artists who emerged out of the SoundCloud and TikTok eras.
