Sponge Cola

Sponge Cola is a Filipino rock band formed in 1998, composed of Yael Yuzon on vocals, Gosh Dilay on bass, Armo Armovit on guitar and Tmac Cruz on drums. The band became one of the most prominent acts of the Philippine mainstream rock scene during the 2000s, known for a melodic, radio-friendly alternative rock sound anchored by Yuzon's emotive, distinctive vocal delivery and lyrics that resonate widely with Filipino audiences.

Over the course of several successful studio albums, Sponge Cola produced a string of hit singles that became staples of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) radio, including «Jeepney», «Gemini», «Bitiw», «Di Na Mababawi» and «Kay Tagal Kitang Hinintay», many of which remain widely covered and referenced in Filipino pop culture.
