Sorority Noise

Sorority Noise is an American indie rock and emo band from Hartford, Connecticut, formed in late 2013 by Cameron Boucher as an outlet distinct from his other project, Old Gray. The band's lineup grew to include Adam Ackerman, Charlie Singer and Ryan McKenna, bringing together members with roots in Old Gray and Prawn.

Their 2014 debut «Forgettable» established their sound and led to tours alongside rising emo and indie acts like Modern Baseball and The Hotelier, positioning them within the wave of 2010s emo revival bands blending fuzzy guitar tones with confessional lyricism. The band became known for tackling deeply personal, often difficult subject matter, including mental health and addiction, most notably on the album-closer «When I See You (Timberwolf)».

Songs such as «No Halo» and «Using» reflect the band's mix of emotional rawness and melodic songwriting, earning them a devoted following within the DIY and emo scenes. Sorority Noise remains a notable name in the emo revival movement for pairing candid, vulnerable songwriting with an evolving, increasingly polished indie rock sound.
