Sidney Gish is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for a self-produced, lo-fi indie pop sound built around looped guitars, layered vocal harmonies, and wry, conversational lyrics. She first gained attention with her debut album Ed Buys Houses, released independently on December 29, 2016 while she was still a college student, recorded largely on her own using a loop pedal.

Her follow-up, No Dogs Allowed, released December 31, 2017, expanded on that DIY approach with denser arrangements and sharper songwriting, earning wider critical acclaim and cementing her reputation as an inventive one-woman-band presence in the indie rock and bedroom-pop scene.
