She Wants Revenge is an American musical duo from the San Fernando Valley, California, formed by Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin. Emerging in the mid-2000s, the group built a distinctive sound rooted in post-punk and darkwave, drawing on the moody synth textures and deadpan baritone vocals reminiscent of acts like Joy Division and early Depeche Mode, while filtering it through a modern electronic-rock production style.

Their self-titled debut album, released in 2006, established them with singles «These Things», «Out of Control» and «Tear You Apart», the latter becoming their signature track and gaining a music video directed by Joaquin Phoenix. The album’s brooding atmosphere, danceable rhythms and blunt, sexually charged lyricism set the tone for the band’s aesthetic. They followed with This Is Forever in 2007 and Valleyheart in 2011, alongside EPs like Save Your Soul and Up and Down, continuing to refine their gothic-tinged synth-rock sound.
