Rob Zombie

Rob Zombie, born Robert Bartleh Cummings on January 12, 1965, is an American musician, filmmaker and visual artist who first made his name as the frontman of White Zombie, the band that fused industrial grind with horror-movie imagery in the late 1980s and early 1990s. After the group split, he launched a solo career built on the same aesthetic — thundering, sample-laden metal soaked in B-movie references, pulp horror and grindhouse cinema — and quickly became one of the genre's most recognizable showmen.

His solo debut «Hellbilly Deluxe» (1998) produced enduring anthems such as «Dragula» and «Living Dead Girl», cementing a sound built on distorted riffs, electronic loops and sampled dialogue from horror and exploitation films. Later albums continued to mine that territory with tracks like «Superbeast» and «Feel So Numb», while his catalog also reaches back to the White Zombie era for cuts such as «Well, Everybody's Fucking In A U.F.O.» and «Pussy Liquor». His music consistently blends metal aggression with a theatrical, cinematic sensibility.

Beyond music, Zombie became a filmmaker in his own right, writing and directing horror films including «House of 1000 Corpses», extending the same visual universe of ghouls, carnival grotesquerie and retro horror kitsch that defines his songs. That crossover between music and film has made him a singular figure — a metal artist whose stage shows, videos and movies form one continuous, gleefully macabre body of work.
