PVRIS

PVRIS is an American rock band formed in 2012 in Lowell, Massachusetts, built around vocalist Lynn Gunn, who was later revealed to be the band's primary creative force behind its songwriting and production. The band emerged from an earlier metalcore project, refining its sound into a moodier blend of alternative rock, synth-pop, and electronic textures that set them apart from their post-hardcore peers.

Their debut album, White Noise, released through Rise Records, established PVRIS on the Billboard 200 and produced the fan favorite «You and I». The follow-up, All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell, pushed the band further into atmospheric, hook-driven territory and expanded their audience beyond the rock scene.

Over subsequent releases, PVRIS leaned increasingly into synth-driven pop and electronic production while keeping Gunn's emotionally direct songwriting at the center. Tracks like «Hallucinations» and «Death of Me» showcase this evolution, and the band has continued releasing music and touring as a vehicle for Gunn's artistic vision following lineup changes.
