About the artist
Pet Shop Boys are an English electronic pop duo formed in London in 1981, consisting of Neil Tennant (vocals) and Chris Lowe (keyboards). They emerged in the mid-1980s as one of the defining acts of British synth-pop, pairing Tennant's wry, literate lyrics with Lowe's sleek, danceable production. Their breakthrough single «West End Girls» topped charts internationally and set the template for their sound: melancholic melodies wrapped in glossy dance-pop arrangements.
