Motionless in White

Motionless in White are an American metalcore/industrial metal band formed in 2005 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Fronted by vocalist Chris Motionless (Chris Cerulli), the band built its identity around a theatrical, horror-influenced aesthetic drawing on shock rock and goth imagery, paired with heavy breakdowns and electronic textures. Their early releases on Fearless Records, including «Creatures» (2010) and «Infamous» (2012), established a devoted fanbase in the American metalcore scene.

With 2014's «Reincarnate» and their move to Vertigo/Roadrunner Records for «Graveyard Shift» (2017), the band pushed further into industrial and electronic-tinged metal, broadening their sound beyond straightforward metalcore while keeping the aggressive vocal delivery and dark visual identity intact. Subsequent albums such as «Disguise» (2019) and «Scoring the End of the World» (2022) leaned further into cinematic, synth-heavy production.

Motionless in White's blend of horror-movie theatrics, melodic hooks and heavy riffing has made them one of the more commercially successful acts to emerge from the 2010s American metalcore scene, known for elaborate stage shows and a strong connection with their fanbase, often called the «Cry Club».
