Mor ve Ötesi is a Turkish alternative rock band from Istanbul whose name plays on the Turkish word for ultraviolet. Formed by singer and rhythm guitarist Harun Tekin along with fellow musicians, the group built its sound around driving guitar rock infused with socially conscious, poetic Turkish lyrics, quickly becoming one of the country's leading alternative bands in the 2000s.

The band reached wider recognition with the album «Dünya Yalan Söylüyor», which produced several of their best-known songs, and gained international exposure representing Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with «Deli», a track that became emblematic of their energetic, anthemic style. Songs like «Bir Derdim Var», «Cambaz» and «Uyan» reflect the group's blend of rock intensity with reflective, often politically charged songwriting rooted in the Turkish alternative scene.
