Moose Blood

Moose Blood are an English emo and rock band from Canterbury, Kent, formed in the early 2010s and built around vocalist and guitarist Eddy Brewerton. Emerging from the UK’s emo revival scene, the band drew heavily on the mid-nineties American emo sound of groups like American Football and Jimmy Eat World, favoring raw, confessional lyrics about relationships and mental health over technical showmanship.

Their 2014 debut album, I’ll Keep You in Mind, from Time to Time, released through No Sleep Records, established their sound of chiming, melodic guitar lines paired with dual vocal interplay, and songs like «Gum» and «Bukowski» became fan favorites. The band’s profile rose quickly through 2015 with prominent festival slots at Slam Dunk and Reading and Leeds, as well as an appearance on the US Vans Warped Tour, alongside support tours with bands such as Man Overboard and Lower Than Atlantis.

Moose Blood signed to Hopeless Records for their second album, Blush, released in 2016 and led by the single «Honey», which further sharpened their sound while retaining the emotional directness of their earlier work. Their music remains a touchstone within the modern British emo and pop-punk-adjacent scene.
