mewithoutYou were an American post-hardcore band from Philadelphia, formed around brothers Aaron Weiss (vocals) and Michael Weiss (guitar), along with bassist Greg Jehanian, guitarist Brandon Beaver, and drummer Rickie Mazzotta. Emerging in the early 2000s, the band became known for blending frantic, dissonant post-hardcore and emo instrumentation with Aaron Weiss's half-sung, half-spoken vocal delivery, which set them apart from their peers in the scene.

Lyrically, mewithoutYou drew deeply on religious and philosophical themes, weaving together Christian, Sufi Islamic, and folkloric imagery into surreal, parable-like narratives.
