Lucy Dacus

Lucy Dacus is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Richmond, Virginia, now based in Philadelphia, known for her incisive, narrative-driven lyrics and a low, mournful, resonant voice that has made her one of the defining voices in modern indie rock. She emerged with her 2016 debut No Burden, followed by the critically acclaimed Historian in 2018 and Home Video in 2021, albums that trace her growth as a songwriter unpacking memory, faith, queerness and coming of age with unusual candor and precision.
