Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher is an English singer born in Manchester in 1972, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of Oasis, one of the defining British rock bands of the 1990s. His distinctive nasal drawl and confrontational stage presence became inseparable from the Britpop movement, and his volatile relationship with his brother and bandmate Noel Gallagher — the band's chief songwriter — shaped much of Oasis's public narrative until their split in 2009.

After Oasis disbanded, Liam formed Beady Eye with the band's other former members, releasing two albums before that project also ended.
