King Krule

King Krule is the primary stage name of London-born musician Archy Marshall (born 24 August 1994), who began recording and releasing music as a teenager under earlier aliases before settling on his current moniker. Raised in South London, he built a devoted online following with early, lo-fi releases that showcased his distinctively deep, weathered voice paired against his young age.

His sound draws together elements of post-punk, jazz, blues, hip-hop, and dub, wrapped in a raw, atmospheric production style that feels intimate and often melancholic. Songs such as «Easy Easy», «Baby Blue», and «Out Getting Ribs» highlight his knack for blending fractured guitar work and jazz-inflected chords with candid, diaristic lyrics about anxiety, love, and everyday London life.

King Krule has released music across several acclaimed studio albums and has also recorded under the name Zoo Kid earlier in his career and as DJ JD Sports / Edgar the Beatmaker before that.
