Kaiser Chiefs

Kaiser Chiefs are an English rock band from Leeds who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s as key figures in the Post-Punk Revival movement. Combining Britpop melodicism with punk energy and anthemic choruses, they quickly became one of the defining British guitar bands of their era.

After an initial attempt under the name Parva, the band broke through with «Employment» (2005), featuring the hit «I Predict a Riot», and followed it with «Yours Truly, Angry Mob» (2007), which produced their first UK number-one single, «Ruby». Further releases like «Off With Their Heads» continued their commercial success, while «The Future Is Medieval» marked a quieter period before the band regrouped.

Following the departure of drummer Nick Hodgson and frontman Ricky Wilson's rising public profile through television, the band returned to the top of the UK charts with «Education, Education, Education & War», later shifting toward a more polished, pop-oriented sound on «Stay Together» (2016). Tracks like «Everyday I Love You Less and Less», «Oh My God», «Never Miss A Beat», and «The Angry Mob» remain staples of their catalogue.
