白鲨 JAWS (CHN)

白鲨JAWS, also known simply as JAWS, is a Chinese rock band featuring vocalist and singer-songwriter 鱼麦扣 (Michael Yu) alongside bassist and guitarists rounding out a compact, guitar-forward lineup. The band debuted in 2019 with their first EP, but it was their 2021 track «Dive Back In Time», used as the opening theme for the popular bilibili animated series LINK CLICK, that brought them widespread recognition.

JAWS's sound blends rock, pop, and rap elements into an energetic, hook-driven style that translates well to anime and animation soundtracks, a niche the band has continued to explore by contributing additional songs for LINK CLICK's soundtrack and returning to score the show's second season in 2023 with new opening and ending themes.

Tracks such as «VORTEX», «The Eye», «THE TIDES», «Keep In Mind», and «彗星 (Comet)» showcase the band's range across driving rock anthems and more melodic, pop-inflected material. In late 2023 JAWS released their second major album, 在我醒來之後 (The Dawn After), alongside the announcement of new singles and their first world tour, marking a significant step in the band's growing international profile.
