Imminence

Imminence is a Swedish rock and metal band formed in 2009 by guitarist Harald Barrett. Over the years the group has moved from a more aggressive metalcore sound toward a broader, melodic rock and alternative-metal style, incorporating electronic textures and soaring, emotionally charged vocals delivered by frontman Eddie Berg. The band built its reputation through relentless touring, opening for established acts and playing major European metal festivals.

Signed to Arising Empire, the Nuclear Blast-affiliated label, Imminence released a string of albums that steadily grew their international following, with songs like «Erase», «The Black», and «Heaven Shall Burn» showcasing their trademark blend of heavy guitar work, cinematic atmosphere, and hook-driven choruses. Their music often contrasts crushing riffs with lush, almost pop-inflected melodic passages, a duality that has become central to their identity.
