Huddy

Huddy, born Chase Hudson on May 15, 2002 in Stockton, California, first rose to fame as a content creator on TikTok before becoming a co-founder of the Hype House collective, one of the platform's most prominent creator groups. He later performed and released music under the name LILHUDDY, positioning himself within the pop-punk and alternative pop revival that drew heavily on early-2000s emo and rock aesthetics.

Signed to Geffen Records, he issued his debut single «21st Century Vampire», followed by tracks like «The Eulogy of You and Me», «America's Sweetheart» and «Don't Freak Out», building toward his debut album Teenage Heartbreak, which leaned into confessional lyrics, distorted guitars and emo-inflected melodies. Songs such as «Partycrasher» and «How It Ends» continued this pop-rock direction, while «All the Things I Hate About You» marked a turning point before he became an independent artist in 2022.

Beyond music, Huddy made his acting debut in the Machine Gun Kelly film Downfalls High, reflecting a broader crossover between internet fame, music and film that defined much of his generation of TikTok-born artists. His career illustrates how social media platforms have become launching pads for pop-rock careers outside traditional industry gatekeeping.
