Hop Along

Hop Along began as the solo project of Frances Quinlan in the mid-2000s before evolving into a full band based in Philadelphia, rounded out by Mark Quinlan on drums, Tyler Long on bass and Joe Reinhart on guitar. The shift from a lo-fi, freak-folk solo act to a fuller rock lineup reshaped the project's sound into something more dynamic, built around Frances Quinlan's distinctive, expressive voice, which moves fluidly between hushed intimacy and raw, cathartic power.
