Halestorm

Halestorm is an American rock band from Red Lion, Pennsylvania, formed in the late 1990s by siblings Lzzy Hale and Arejay Hale. Lzzy handles lead vocals and guitar while Arejay plays drums, and the pair built the group into one of the most recognizable hard rock acts of their generation, known for pairing Lzzy's powerful, versatile voice with riff-driven arena rock. The lineup was rounded out over the years by guitarist Joe Hottinger and bassist Josh Smith.

After years of touring and an early live EP, the band released its self-titled debut studio album in 2009, which produced the hit «I Get Off» and established their sound: a blend of hard rock muscle, pop songcraft, and hooks that translate well to radio. Follow-up records built on that formula with singles such as «Love Bites (So Do I)» and «I Miss the Misery», cementing Halestorm's reputation as a hard-touring, festival-friendly band.

Lzzy Hale in particular has become a prominent figure in modern rock, respected for her stage presence and vocal range, and the band has collaborated and toured alongside numerous rock and metal acts. Halestorm continues to release new material and remains a fixture of mainstream rock radio and rock festival lineups.
