Franco

Franco is a Filipino rock band formed in 2008, notable for beginning as a supergroup drawing members from several prominent Philippine rock acts. Its original lineup brought together Franco Reyes of InYo on vocals, Gabby Alipe of Urbandub on guitar, Paolo Toleran of Queso on guitar, Buwi Meneses of Parokya ni Edgar on bass, and JanJan Mendoza of Urbandub on drums, combining pedigrees from across the country's alternative and rock scene.

After this original lineup disbanded in the mid-2010s, frontman Franco Reyes regrouped the band with a new set of musicians, continuing to record and perform under the Franco name. The band's music blends melodic rock songwriting with pop sensibility and occasional rap-influenced textures, reflected in songs such as «Better Days», «Aurora Sunrise», and «Castaway».

Franco has built a catalog exploring themes ranging from personal loss to introspection, as heard in tracks like «For My Dearly Departed» and «Memory Kill», establishing the group as a recognizable name within the Philippine alternative rock landscape of the 2010s and beyond.
