FLOW

FLOW is a Japanese rock band formed in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, whose lineup features twin brothers KEIGO and KOHSHI on vocals alongside TAKE on guitar, GOT’S on bass, and IWASAKI on drums. The band built its reputation through the 1990s and 2000s doujin and indie music scene before breaking into the mainstream, and it remains one of the most recognizable acts associated with anime theme songs in Japan.

FLOW’s sound blends melodic pop-rock hooks with driving, anthemic rock arrangements, often leaning into big choruses suited to opening and ending themes. The band became internationally known through its ties to anime, most famously performing «GO!!!», the fourth opening theme for the Naruto anime, and «COLORS», the first opening theme for Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion — both tracks are considered genre staples among Western anime fans.

Beyond those two signature songs, FLOW has contributed numerous other themes to anime series over the years, cementing a long-running relationship with the industry that has kept the band active and touring for decades.
