Every Time I Die

Every Time I Die were an American hardcore/metalcore band from Buffalo, New York, formed in 1998 around brothers Keith Buckley (vocals) and Jordan Buckley (guitar), alongside Andy Williams (guitar). Known for chaotic, riff-driven songwriting that fused metalcore aggression with Southern-rock swagger and hardcore-punk energy, the band built a reputation for explosive, unpredictable live shows and Keith Buckley's literate, darkly humorous lyrics.

The group released their debut album, Last Night in Town, in 2001, and went on to record a string of full-lengths that mixed mathy breakdowns, groove-laden riffs, and unexpected melodic detours, cycling through rhythm sections while the Buckley-Williams core remained constant. Signed for years to Ferret Music before moving to Epitaph Records, the band earned a devoted following in the American hardcore and metalcore underground and influenced a generation of bands blending heavy music with rock'n'roll attitude.

Over more than two decades, Every Time I Die released nine studio albums, ending with Radical, before the band's abrupt and unexpected dissolution in 2022 following internal tensions. They remain regarded as one of the defining acts of 2000s American hardcore, respected for refusing to settle into a single sound across their career.
