Everclear

Everclear is an American alternative rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, led by singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter Art Alexakis. The band emerged in the mid-1990s alternative rock boom with a sound built on melodic hooks, crunchy guitars, and confessional, often autobiographical lyrics addressing addiction, poverty, and broken families — themes drawn heavily from Alexakis's own difficult upbringing.
