Escape The Fate

Escape the Fate are an American rock band formed in 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada, though their roots trace back to Pahrump, Nevada. Emerging from the post-hardcore and screamo scene of the mid-2000s, the band built a loyal following through relentless touring and an aggressive, melodic sound that blends heavy breakdowns with anthemic choruses. Signed to Eleven Seven Music, they became a fixture of the Warped Tour circuit and the broader alternative rock scene alongside contemporaries in the scene.

The band has weathered significant lineup changes over the years, with drummer Robert Ortiz remaining the sole original member since 2013. Craig Mabbitt joined as lead vocalist in 2008, bringing a more melodic, radio-friendly edge to the group after early records like «Dying Is Your Latest Fashion» established their initial identity. Guitarist Kevin «Thrasher» Gruft and rhythm guitarist TJ Bell later rounded out the modern lineup.

Songs such as «Situations», «My Apocalypse» and «The Guillotine» showcase the band's evolution from raw post-hardcore aggression toward a more polished hard rock and pop-rock sound, while retaining the emotional intensity that defined their early work. Escape the Fate remain active performers, continuing to release new material and tour internationally decades after their formation.
