ERRA

ERRA is a progressive metalcore band from Birmingham, Alabama, formed in 2009. Taking their name from Akkadian mythology, the group built a reputation on technically demanding riffing, shifting time signatures and a mix of guttural screams with soaring clean vocals, drawing comparisons to bands like Born of Osiris and Misery Signals while carving out their own melodic identity within the genre.

Across a run of albums the band steadily refined its sound, moving from denser, more chaotic early material toward a cleaner, more atmospheric and hook-driven approach without abandoning its technical roots. Songs such as «Skyline», «Snowblood» and «Breach» reflect this later, more melodic phase, where soaring choruses sit alongside intricate instrumental passages.
