About the artist
Elle King, born Tanner Elle Schneider in 1989, is an American singer-songwriter and actress, daughter of actor Rob Schneider and model London King. Despite her famous parentage, she carved out her own path, performing in New York bars as a teenager and eventually building a musical identity independent of her family name. She released her debut studio album, Love Stuff, in 2015, driven by the breakout single «Ex's & Oh's», which became a major crossover hit, reaching the top 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and going platinum.
King's music blends rock, blues, soul, and country influences with a raspy, powerful voice and a defiantly unpolished, rebellious persona. That sound carried into later work that leaned increasingly into country textures, including collaborations that connected her with the Nashville scene, while retaining the rock grit and blues swagger that first defined her.
Known for songs like «America's Sweetheart» and «Drunk (And I Don't Wanna Go Home)», a duet with Dierks Bentley that became a country radio hit, she has built a career that moves fluidly between rock and country audiences. Her willingness to write candidly about heartbreak, resilience, and personal struggle has made her a distinctive presence across multiple genres in American popular music.
