Drowning Pool

Drowning Pool is an American hard rock and nu metal band formed in Dallas, Texas, that emerged in the early 2000s as part of a wave of aggressive, radio-friendly metal acts. The group became instantly recognizable for its breakout single «Bodies», with its pounding riff and shouted refrain, which turned into one of the era's most enduring metal anthems and a fixture in sports arenas, action films and wrestling broadcasts.

The band's sound combines heavy, downtuned guitar riffs with anthemic choruses and an aggressive but melodic vocal approach, placing them alongside contemporaries in the post-grunge and nu metal scenes of the early 2000s.
