Destroy Boys

Destroy Boys are a punk rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in October 2015 around vocalist Alexia Roditis and guitarist Violet Mayugba, later joined by bassist David Orozco and drummer Narsai Malik. Their sound blends raw, riot-grrrl-adjacent punk energy with pop hooks and confessional, often confrontational lyrics about identity, mental health and queerness.

The band built its catalog quickly, releasing the debut album Sorry, Mom in 2016 and following it with Make Room in 2017. Open Mouth, Open Heart arrived in 2021, pushing their songwriting into more melodic, expansive territory while keeping the aggressive live-show intensity that made them a fixture of the American DIY punk circuit. Their fourth album, Funeral Soundtrack #4, followed in 2024.

Destroy Boys have toured extensively across the United States and the United Kingdom, including dates alongside SWMRS, and have steadily grown a devoted streaming and touring audience. Tracks like «Crybaby», «Fences» and «Piedmont» highlight the band's mix of catchy, hook-driven punk and emotionally raw storytelling, cementing their place among the notable acts of the modern West Coast punk scene.
