Dedublüman

Dedublüman is a Turkish rock and pop group formed in Trabzon in 2010 by Kurthan Sarpkaya and Mustafa Yavuz. Over the years the lineup expanded, and the band currently performs as a six-piece featuring Mustafa Yavuz, Kurthan Sarpkaya, Kıvanç Kumlu, Hazar Altın, Besim Talı and Çağrı Çelik. The group has kept the meaning behind its unusual name private, adding a layer of mystique to its identity within the Turkish alternative music scene.

The band built its early following through YouTube covers before releasing its first official single, «Yok», on 28 September 2019. Their breakthrough moment came with a cover of «Gamzedeyim Deva Bulamam», a classic Turkish folk-influenced piece, which they released through their official channels in February 2020 and which brought them widespread recognition in 2021. This blend of reinterpreting traditional Turkish melodies with a rock-pop sensibility has become a signature part of their appeal.

Songs such as «Rüya Gibi», «Sana Güvenmiyorum», «Sen Bilmezsin» and «Cümlenin Sonu» showcase the group's ability to combine emotionally resonant songwriting with guitar-driven arrangements, appealing to a generation of Turkish listeners drawn to both modern rock textures and nostalgic folk references.
