Crosses (stylized ✝✝✝) is the electronic-tinged side project of Deftones frontman Chino Moreno alongside Far guitarist Shaun Lopez and bassist/producer Chuck Doom. Formed in Los Angeles in 2011, the band lets Moreno explore a moodier, more atmospheric register than his main band, built around synth textures, programmed beats and his trademark falsetto rather than heavy guitars.

The project introduced itself with two digital EPs, «EP 1» and «EP 2», before releasing its self-titled debut full-length, «✝✝✝ (Crosses)», in 2014. The record folded together shoegaze, trip-hop and industrial-leaning electronic pop, with tracks like «Bitches Brew» and «Telepathy» showcasing the group's blend of icy production and Moreno's vulnerable vocal delivery.

Crosses went quiet after 2016 before resurfacing with the single «The Beginning of the End», signaling renewed activity. For Deftones fans, the project offers a more intimate, electronics-driven counterpart to that band's heavier sound, and it has become a recognizable outlet for Moreno's collaborations with Lopez, a longtime friend and musical partner going back to their teenage years in Sacramento.
