Chris Isaak

Chris Isaak (born June 26, 1956) is an American rock musician known for reviving the atmosphere of vintage 1950s rock and roll and crooner pop with a distinctive, reverb-drenched sound and a soaring, emotive falsetto. Signed to Warner Bros. Records, he released his debut album Silvertone in 1985, an eclectic mix of country blues and folk-tinged ballads that earned critical praise but modest sales, setting the template for the retro-leaning romanticism that would define his career.

Isaak's signature moment came with «Wicked Game», a haunting, slow-burning ballad whose popularity was greatly boosted by its use in David Lynch's film Wild at Heart, cementing a long creative association between the two.
