Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams is a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer who became one of the defining voices of arena rock in the 1980s and 1990s. Working closely with longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, he built a catalog of anthemic, guitar-driven rock songs with broad crossover appeal, breaking through internationally with the album Reckless and its enduring hit «Summer of ’69».

His music blends classic rock songwriting with polished, radio-friendly pop production, and he became especially known for power ballads used in film soundtracks, most notably «(Everything I Do) I Do It for You» from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, which became one of the best-known singles of his era. Other hits like «Heaven», «Run to You», and «Please Forgive Me» cemented his status as a hitmaker across multiple decades.

Beyond his own recordings, Adams has worked as a songwriter and producer for other artists and contributed music to film and stage, including the musical Pretty Woman. Known for his gravelly voice and straightforward, hook-driven songwriting, he remains one of Canada’s most commercially successful rock exports.
