Братья Грим (Brat'ya Grim)

Bratya Grim (Братья Грим, meaning Brothers Grimm) are a Russian pop band formed in 1998 by brothers Boris and Konstantin Burdaev in Samara. For several years the duo performed in local clubs and venues before signing with producer Leonid Burlakov in 2004 and relocating to Moscow, a move that brought them into the national spotlight, including an appearance at the MAXIDROM festival in 2005.

Their sound combines pop songwriting with rock instrumentation, built around melodic, emotionally direct vocals typical of mid-2000s Russian pop-rock. The band released a run of albums in the mid-to-late 2000s, including their self-titled debut, «Иллюзия» (Illusion), and «Марсиане» (Martians), establishing a catalog of romantically themed singles that found a wide audience on Russian radio and television.

The group split in 2009 amid a falling-out with their producer, after which Konstantin continued performing under the Bratya Grim name from 2010 onward, while Boris later pursued his own version of the project before stepping back from it. Despite the internal disputes over the band's legacy, songs from their original run remain staples of 2000s Russian pop-rock nostalgia.
