Brandon Flowers

Brandon Flowers is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist born in 1981, best known as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of The Killers, the Las Vegas rock band he co-founded in the early 2000s. With The Killers he has recorded a string of albums built on synth-driven, anthemic rock that draws on new wave and post-punk influences, propelling the band to major success on both sides of the Atlantic and topping the UK Albums Chart repeatedly.

Beyond his work fronting The Killers, Flowers has pursued a parallel solo career, releasing the albums «Flamingo» (2010) and «The Desired Effect» (2015). His solo material leans further into shimmering, retro-tinged pop and synth-pop textures, giving him room to explore songwriting outside the band's established sound while still centering his distinctive, emotive vocal delivery.

Flowers's writing often returns to themes of small-town American life, faith, and longing, filtered through widescreen, arena-ready production. His influence on 2000s and 2010s rock is tied closely to The Killers's catalogue, but his solo records have also earned him recognition as a songwriter capable of standing apart from the band, including honors such as the Q Idol Award.
