Blessthefall is an American metalcore band formed in 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona, by guitarist Mike Frisby, drummer Matt Traynor, and bassist Jared Warth. Signed to Fearless Records, the band became one of the defining acts of the mid-to-late 2000s post-hardcore and metalcore scene, blending breakdown-heavy riffing with the genre's signature mix of screamed and clean vocals. Their debut album, «His Last Walk» (2007), featured original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, who would later leave to front Escape the Fate.

The band's sound shifted and solidified after Beau Bokan took over as lead vocalist, starting with «Witness» (2009), which brought a stronger emphasis on melodic hooks alongside the aggressive instrumentation. This era cemented blessthefall's dual-vocal approach as a genre staple. Albums like «Awakening» (2011) and «Hollow Bodies» (2013) continued to chart their evolution, with «Hollow Bodies» often cited by fans as a high point balancing heaviness and accessibility.

Over the following albums, including «For Those Left Behind» (2015), blessthefall continued touring extensively within the Warped Tour-era metalcore circuit, sharing stages with peers in the scene. Songs like «Hey Baby, Here's That Song You Wanted» and «Guys Like You Make Us Look Bad» remain fan favorites and reflect the band's knack for pairing heavy breakdowns with anthemic choruses, a formula that helped define a generation of metalcore bands on Fearless Records.
