Bilmuri

Bilmuri is a project of Johnny Franck, an American musician best known as the former vocalist of the post-hardcore band Attack Attack!. Since launching Bilmuri in 2016, Franck has used it as a much freer creative outlet, blending post-hardcore and metalcore energy with pop, country, and electronic textures rather than staying within a single genre. The project embraces genre-hopping as its core identity, jumping between screamed hooks, acoustic detours, and synth-driven passages within the same record.

Bilmuri's output is prolific, with a dozen albums released since its inception, often built around loose conceptual threads and deliberately absurd or provocative song titles. Tracks like «ABSOLUTELYCRANKINGMYMF'INHOG» and «FLUORIDEINTHEHARDSELTZERWATER» showcase the project's irreverent humor, while songs such as «Near» and «THE END» lean into more emotionally direct songwriting. This mix of chaos and sincerity has made Bilmuri a distinctive voice within the alternative and post-hardcore scene.

The project has built a dedicated online fanbase drawn to its unpredictability and DIY spirit, standing apart from more conventional metalcore acts by refusing genre boundaries.
