Bayaan is a Pakistani rock band from Lahore that rose from the country's vibrant home-grown music scene into one of its most talked-about young acts. The members first gained wider attention through Nescafe Basement, a televised platform that has launched numerous Pakistani artists, before the group won the third season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands in 2018, a victory that catapulted them into the national spotlight. Their sound blends alternative rock with contemporary pop sensibilities, favoring introspective, socially aware lyrics over formulaic love songs.

Bayaan built its reputation on lyrical depth and a willingness to experiment, pairing thoughtful songwriting with striking, cinematic music videos that treat visuals as an extension of the storytelling.
